There’s no upside. Thoughts on Matthew Perry.

I have some feelings about the whole Matthew Perry situation — how tragic, sad and probably avoidable it was. You see, once upon a time, I worked in Hollywood. It’s a quagmire of codependency. Not a great place for someone struggling with addiction. Not a great place to be as an assistant without an HR department.
